KENNEL CLUB.

ENTRIES FOR ANNUAL SHOW.* *

A fair increase in entries over those of last year's has been recorded by the Canterbury Kennel Club for its annual show, which is to be held on Thursday and Friday at the Addington Showgrounds, in conjunction with the A. and P. Association's fixture. Entries total 338. The outside support, however, has been disappointing, although Wellington and Dunedin have responded fairly well. The entries are poor in the toy classes, but Canterbury fanciers have well supported those for sporting dogs, i The Airedales will be a feature of the show, and the popular Ladies' Bracelet class should be keenly contested. Entries are as follow: — Airednlc Terriers 64 Smooth Fox Terriers 48 Wire-haired Fox Terriers .. .. 30 Coloured Cockers 37 Black Cockers 27 Irish Setters 22 Bulldogs 20 Bracelet Classes .. .. t.. .. 21 Other Breeds 09 Total 338
