PUBLIC NOTICES.
The women's branch of the Government employment bureau will in future be located at 178 Manchester Street, 4 On Wednesday, November 5, at 7.30 p.m., in the Oddfellows* Hall at Lyttclton, Mr T. Brindlc, organiser for the Labour Party, will address a meeting on labour matters. In connection with the Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting on November 8, 10, 12 and 15, trams will run at short intervals from 10 a.m. No motor-car will be permitted to remain in any of the carriage drives or carriage pnddocks. Children will not be , admitted to any part of the racecourse >or enclosure except 'Upon payment of the usual charges. The first race will commence each . day at 12 o'clock. A reunion of Christcburch El>ys' High School Old Boys will be held «.?i Monday, ; November 10, at 7.30 p.m., in the old school. Thanks arc extended on behalf of. the 'New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association to all who assisted in making the recent nurses' memorial service such a success. A plain and fancy dress dance will be held in the New Brighton Pier Hall on November 20. '
