Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M., and Mrs Bailey left for Auckland last night on a holiilay tour. Mr Bailey expects to be away until about the end of the present month. Common jurors, who were summoned to attend the Supreme Court sittings on Monday, May 26, will not be required and are accordingly discharged from attendance. AVhen the case of Ada Lucy Kent (Mr W. E. Mills) and "William Sidney Wardell (Mr 0. T. J. Alpers), a claim for £2OO damages for. an alleged assault, was called on in the Supreme Court, it was stated that a confession had been filed. His Honour, Mr Justice Herdman, accordingly entered up judgment ifor plaintiff for £2(KL with costs according to, scale. • .;;... .■*
