CYCLING.

■ ■ KAIAPOI CLUB. The Kaiapoi Cycle Club hold an open handicap road race last evening, the course being ttom Beach Road, Kaiapoi, to Woodend and back, a distance of about nine miles. There were 10 starters, and the result was:—R. H. Ritchie Tasec (riding time 25rain 3secl 1, H. W. Birch 75sec 2, W. Yaxley IGssoc :t. A good race, only a few yards between first and third man. G. Goodall made the fastest time from scratch (24min 50sec>. The club will hold a sports day on Easter Monday.
