A FUTILE STRIKE.
LEADERS ADMIT DEFEAT. By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Feb. 28. The strike leaders have terminated the strike at the North-east Coast shipyards after eight weeks. They admit that the men were beaten. The strike cost the unions £200,000.
