STOCK MARKETS.

RANGIORA. The Rangiora stock market was concluded yesterday in fine weather. The yarding of stores totalled 273-1, of which SOS were lambs, 232 wethers and 2234 ewes. The following sales were made:—

Ewes.—Two-tooths 92 29/3, 79 32/0, 350 32/9, 117 31/1. Two and fourtooths 113 33/9, four-tooth 04 32/3, 131 27/0. Four, six and eight-tooths 15/10 to 29/9. sound mouth 23/5, and 83 failing mouth 15/10. Wethers.—Two-tooth 39 22/2, 34 25/1, two and four-tooth 20 27/8. Lambs.—4l 18/3, 42 14/11, 22 18/0, and 158 half-bred 19/4. Pigs.—There were 00 offored. Baconers made: Heavy £5 10/- to £0 10/-, light £4 to £5 5/-, porkers £3 10/- to £3 15/-, and weaners 10/- to 25/-. There were no stores offering. Cattle.- —There was a yarding of 22, of which three were springers, 17 store cows, one store heifer and one Shorthorn bull. The bull realised £7, the store cows £0 10/- to £ll 2/6, and the store heifer £lO 17/6. The springers were, passed in. Produce. —In the poultry section, roosters sold at 7/6, hens 4/6, pullets 5/0 and ducks 4/6 per pair. Chickwheat sold at 0/- to 7/-, oats 5/0 to 6/-, and grass seed 3/6 to 4/- per bushel. Bran 12/0 per 1601b bag, oatsheaf chaff 3/6 to 5/0 per sack, potatoes Id lb, onions ljd lb, apples and pears 3/- to 6/pcr case (equal to Id for pears and 2d for apples), and plums 2d to 3d per lb.

ASHBUKTON. The weekly stock sale helil at Ashburton yesterday was completed in perfect weather. The total fats (3354) consisted of. 183 wethors, 564 ewes, and 2u'o7 lambs. Additional sales in the fat. pens were: — Wothevs—l4 30/3 and 15 33/3. Lambs—ls3 28/-, 107 30/8, 83 2i>/7, 83 37/3, 73 10/-, 150 37/6, 130 31/7, 120 29/4, 172 20/3, 217 27/-. Stores—64B7 were penned, comprising 4107 lambs and 2307 ewes; 127!) lambs were passed. Sales were as follow: -115 mixed-sex iambs 17/11, 278 mixed sex lambs (first cross) 24/-, 211 rape ewes 21/9, 866 mixed-sex lambs 21/5, 104 s.m. half bred ewes 20/10, 85 four, six and eight-tooth three (punterbred owes 27/0, 100 do. 20/-, (53 s.m. ewes 25/10, 416 secondcross ni.s. lambs 23/-, 108 cwo lambs 25/ , 327 m.s. lambs 24/3, 21 cull lambs 10/3, 40 m.s. lambs 17/6, 2GG do. 19/-, 52 m.s. lambs 15/-, 142 s.m. ewes 27/-, J27 m.s. lambs 22/8, 44 do. 15/-, 102 two-tooth ewes 28/-, 141 four, six and eight-tooth ewes 25/7, IS3 do. 25/11, 46 rape ewes 20/-, 162 m.s. lambs 19/-.
