DIED OF WOUNDS. LIEUTENANT IT W. PAULING. Second-Lieut. Frank Pauling, who died of wounds at the Christchurch Hospital on February 16, enlisted with the 25th Reinforcement as a private, and after gaining his com-

mission, left New Zealand with the 361h Reinforcement. He was dangerously wounded on October 8, 1918, and was invalided home by the hospital ship Marama on January 30. Lieut. Pauling, who was 25 years of age, leaves a widow and a little daughter.
