TO-DAY'S POULTRY MARKET. Messrs .1. li. Merrett and Co. report a good entry of poultry to-day, when there was a good demand. All classes of birds realised good values. Prime birds were in special demand. Table chickens 1/- to '.)/-, liens 3/0 to (>/-, ducks a/- to 7/0, geese «/- to !)/-, pullets 3/0 to JO/-, turkeys X/- to '22/-, all per pair. THE EGG MARKET. Duck eggs and second grade lien eggs have advanced 1d per dozen. Canterbury t:gg Circle quote first grade 1/10, second grade 1/8, duck eggs 1/8.
