The Breeze, which arrived at 4 o'ciock this morning from Timaru, is timed to sail for Wellington and Wanganui this evening. The Corinna will arrive to-morrow from the south, and' on discharge will lift cargo ___Jfor Nelson and New Plymouth. The coastal steamer De.ender, which came out of dock last week, had, on arrival from Wellington yesterday, to he redoeked, on account of a bad leak. She will come' cut to-day. The Lilla will enter the duck to-morrow ' for cleaning and scraping. Her deckhouse is in position, but is not yet completed. The scow Hazel Repton, which arrived at Wellington last Tuesday night from Greymouth, had a rough passage of 11 days, and during the time had to contend with strong northerly winds. On the lirst night at sea the vessel was caught in a northerly gale, which carried away the mainsail. A spare sail was rigged, and although the scow did not experience any further h;ss of gear she nevertheless got a severe handling. According to a Westport exchange, a Louden company has purchased Hie Westport Harbour Hoard's dredge Ruin Seddon lor £25,000. The "Westport Times" expresses itself pleased at the purchase, and says that the dredge proved a non-success from the moment she arrived at Westport. There has also been a great demand for the other Westport dredge, the Eileen Ward. However, she was not for sale.
