BILLIARDS.
The Lyttelton Club conducted a "flying fifty" blfliard tournament in the club rooms last evening, some exciting games being witnessed. In the final R. Collins, with a handicap of 25 on, defeated S. Wales, three behind scratch, who played consistently all through. Following arc the results:— First Round.—J. Mahar beat H. Blackler, A. Murrav beat C. Groves, S. Wales beat J. Lufaro, R. Collins beat F. McConvllle, T. Lufaro beat J. Stanley, A. Gill beat D. Page, J. Wilkinson beat 11. Wagstaff, W. Taylor beat F. Davis, H. Wilson beat H. Uhind, A. Rippin a bye. Second Round.—R. Collins beat A. Rippin, A. Gill beat J. Wilkinson, 11. Wilson beat S. Mahar, S. Wales beat W. Taylor, C. Harkncss beat T. Lufaro, A. Murray a bye.
Third Round.—A. Murray beat C. Harklicss, S. Wales beat A. Gill, R. Collins beat H. Wilson. Semi-final.—R. Collins beat A. Murray, S. Wales a bye. Final.—R. Collins beat S. Wales.
