A GLOOMY PICTURE. Australian ainl K.Z. Calle Association. (Rec. April fi, 1.35) BERNE, April 5. The Emperor Charles, who has returned from a visit to Bohemia, gloomily pictured the economic stagnation and starvation of the people, who were obliged to barter their boots; for miserable mouthfuls of inferior food. There had been 7700 cases of hunger typhus noted in three districts, and 293 deaths.
