WEDDINGS.

A quiet wedding -was celebrated recently at Burnside, Jhe contracting parties being Mr Bernard Fuldseth and Miss Tottie Isbister. The bride, who was given away by her mother, was gowned in smoke-grey crepe de chine, large black hat with touches of blue. She was accompanied by Miss Molly Fuldseth as bridesmaid, who was wearing violet crepe de chine, with puttycoloured picture hat, ornamented with grape. Two little nieces of the bride, Garden and Margaret Boag, made dainty flower girls, with little voile frocks, and carrying baskets of flowers. Mr Harry Cookscly, an Anzac, acted as groomsman. The Rev. Mr Miller, of Ashburton, officiated at the ceremony. The guests were entertained by their hostess, Mrs William Boag, at dinner. The happy couple left amidst showers of confetti on their wedding trip. Amongst those present were: Mrs Boag, Mrs Isbister, Mr and Mrs J. N. Boag, Mr and Mrs T. Watson, Mrs Francis, Mrs MacMillan, Mrs Morrison, Misses Watson, Mackie, and Fuldseth.

St. Matthew's Church, St. Albans, was the scene of a quiet wedding on Saturday morning, Miss Florence Ibbotson, daughter of the late Mr T. IT. Ibbotson, of Southland, being married to Lieut. T.J. Rowley, New Zealand Dental Corps:, Feathcrston Military Camp. Only near relatives were present at the ceremony, which was performed by the vicar, the Rev. A. Hore. Three of the bride's brothers have been members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, one having made the supreme sacrifice. Dr Rowley will return to camp almost immediately, and Mrs Rowley will accompany him to Feathcrston, where she will remain for some time.

A qniot wedding took place at S f . Mary's Church, Auckland, on Thursday, when Miss J. J). Mace, daughter of Mr Charles Mace, of Auckland, was married to Dr Hugh Mac Donald, Resident Magistrate of Rotoma, Fiji. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a white taffeta silk costume, made in the new mode, and a pretty white crepe de chine hat. Miss Jessie Martin supported the bride as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of pale blue crepe de chine with hat to match. Mr James Rollestori acted as best man. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon MaeMurray. Dr. and Mrs Ma<:Donald leave immediately for Sydney.
