They jointly arranged a scheme for the insertion of proGerman articles in French newspapers. Sadik then proceeded to Berlin and explained the scheme to Herr von Jagow (Foreign Minister I, who consented to pay iiiIMMKKI in ten monthly instalments. Polo Pasha regarded the terms as niggardlv. He declared that he could not buy people's souls for such small instalments.]
