Mr F. W. Johnston pointed out to the oxecutive of the Canterbury Automobile Association last evening' the necessity for urging a few members to keep their places when taking part in one of the association's runs iii which a long procession of cars follow one upon the other. There wore always a few members who left their places to spurt forward and cut out the cars in front, making it very unpleasant for the cars left in the dust behind.
