A FARMER'S SUICIDE.

THE HORRELVILLE AFFAIE. An inquest on the body of George ironside, a Horrelville farmer, was held on Friday evening by Mr R. H. Parish, J.P., Acting-Coroucr. The deceased had been found on Thursday afternoon with a gunshot wound in his chest and his throat cut. Douglas Henderson, an employee, said that he found deceased on a coach, with his throat cut and a razor lying beside him. Witness rode for assistance. Constable Leahy gave evidence that the gunshot wound on the chest was only a glancing one. Dr Bagley stated that death was due to tho wound in the throat. A verdict was returned that deceased committed suicide whilst temporarily insane.
