UNION ROWING CLUB. Tlie following entries have been received for the new members' double sculls, to he rowed on December 17 next:—S. Comfort and A. S. Taylor, P. Frausden and A. Barrett, 11. Me.Clure and C. Moulin, W. George and .1. Muir, H. Atkins and L. Kirk, D. Muff and L. Donnelly, E. J. Baghurst and N. Moulin, L. Rutland and R. Taylor, ,1. Weir and VV. Legge, C. Yates and V. Malmanche, H. Smith and P. W. Harris, P. G. Cairns and E. A. Harvey, VV. Whittington and G. W. Logan. On the same date the President's Cup rape will be rowed off. The following crews are entered: —P. Foster, G. Walker, A. Morrows, If. Lay ton (stroke); D. Tlanna, S. Hemingsen, D. Roberison, G. IT. Gre.ufell (stroke); L. M. Osborne, W. G. Easterbrook, IT. Brown, J. Williams (stroke); C. Ward, L. Burgess, 11. Ross, W. Duggan (stroke). Very keen interest is being taken in club affairs by the members this season, and they have been very energetic in making up the deficiency in the membership caused by the war. Already 92 new members have been elected. |
