SPANISH AFFAIRS.

PREMIER'S RESIGNATION. By Gable. — Press Association. — Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Rcc. Oct. 30, 10.40) MADRID, Oct. 29. A Commission, from Barcelona, representing the unanimous views of the military, has started for Madrid, bearing a peremptory message to King Alfonso, with instructions to withhold it if a decision is meanwhile reached on a policy satisfying the Military Junta's aspirations. Senor Dato, on learning of the Junta's action, objected to the military seeking address to the King directly instead of conveying their wishes through the Minister of War. Senor Dato forthwith conferred with King Alfonso for two hours and finally resigned.
