CONTRIBUTIONS NOT TO STOP MORE THAN 100,000 TO GO. Australian and K.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 12, 1.55 p.m.) OTTAWA, July 11. The Hon. A. Meighen, Solicitorbeneral, states that Lanada proposes to recruit 100.000 men by compulsory methods, but she will not stop there. If additional reinforcements are then necessary, Parliament will be asked to provide them. Mr Oliver pointed out that 100.000 men would still not bring the actual oversea forces as promised to 500,000. Sir Robert Borden assured the House that he would not limit the contribution of men if the war continued.
