THREE HUGE WAVES. ;:.v Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright, SUVA, July 10. An earthquake and tidal wave occurred in the Samoa Group. They were the severest on record. The Friendly Group experienced an earthquake. At Hapai there were three waves fourteen feel high. No material damage was done. ' Keppel Island suffered most. Many native houses were destroyed, and a concrete wharf carried away. There were no fatalities. The shock was not felt at Niua-fu.
