SECONDARY SCHOOLS' MATCHES. The mid-week competition, which the Canterbury Rugby Union arranged for teams of secondary schoolboys under 10 years of age, was started yesterday afternoon. Results were:— High School R v. Technical was won by Technical, with a score of 9 to 3. Referee, Mr Holloway. West Christchurch D.H.S. v. St. Andrew's College was won by West Christchurch D.H.S., with a score of :>. r > to nil. The scorers for the winners were Campion (try and potted goal), Dickson (two tries), I'enlington, McMeekan, Jarrett, Johnstone, Hobson, and Sinclair. Hanham and Dickson converted one each, and Dickson kicked a goal from a mark. Referee, Mr Stewart. High School A v. Christ's College was won by High School A, with a score of 9 to 0. The scorers for the winners were P. J. Alley, Mortlock, and Leekie. Referee, Mr Clark. PRIMARY SCHOOLS. LIGHTWEIGHT COMPETITION. The North Canterbury Public Schools' Amateur Athletic Association's light weight Rugby football competition was continued yesterday afternoon. . Results were:— Sydenham v. Marists was drawn, .'J all. Faulkner scored a try for Sydenham, and Smith scored a try for Marists. Referee, Mr Guiney. Richmond v. Cpawa was won by Rich uioud by default.
