AUCKLAND CLUB'S POSITION. Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 26. The committee of the Auckland Racing Club, after hearing a deputation of horse-owners, who asked that the spring meeting should be retained, announced that they were unable to accede to their request. The cutting-out of the spring meeting provides for two of the days which the club has to lose. A third day will come off the summer meeting.
