CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 27. At a conference of directors and supervisors oMechnical colleges being held in Wellington it was decided that representations should be made to the Minister regarding the payment of the war bonus to teachers under technical boards. The department is to be urged to pay capitation to technical night schools, on the roll number at the end of March of each year, and thai the capitation be increased to a minimum of £ii) per annum. It was resolved that there should be direct representation of technical interests on the Council of Education.
