The Lancashire Cotton Trade Unions, representing 400,000 workers, have decided to protest against the Indian cotton duty, and to send a deputation to Mr Austen Chamberlain (Secretary of State for India). The leading Employers' Associations have decided upon a similar course. Speeches were made complaining of the raising of the fiscal question. The Lancashire members of Parliament have called a meeting to discuss many matters, and many questions upon the same topic have been given notice of in the House of Commons.
