INDIAN PRESS ACT TO STAND.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 8, 1.10 p.m.) CALCUTTA, March 7.
The Viceroy (Lord Chelmsford) refused to repeal the Press Act, which he considers is still necessary in order to prevent sedition.
