Captain 11. L. Spratt, military representative before the Second Canterbury Military Service Board, is entering into legal practice in Cliristehurcli. Captain Spratt was formerly managing clerk to the late Colonel W. G. Malone, of Stratford, who hail one of the largest legal businesses in Taranaki. lie volunteered for the front at the same time as Colonel Malone did, and had two years of active service before he was invalided back to New Zealand. Mr J. A. Frostick, Canterbury representative on the National Efficiency Board, will leave Christchurch on Tuesday, March 13, and will hold meetings at Oreymouth on Wednesday, the 14th, and at Eeefton on the loth, when he will meet the mine-owners. Jle then proceeds to Westport.
