FIRES.

OUTBREAK IN SYDENHAM. The City Fire Brigade turned out at about 12.42 this afternoon in answer to a call from No. 18 Beaumont Street, Sydenham, where a fire had bioken out in the front part of a five-roomed house owned by Mr E. J. layler and occupied by MLsa D. Blakley. The outbreak was soon suppressed. The damage done was 01117 slight, lte'ing confined to the front rooms and contents. The furniture w-s insured in the Staie Fire Office for £lO. At tho time the fire occurred the occupant was at New Brighton. The cause of the fire is not known.
