The Allies have authorised the landing of sufficient coal for the railway for transporting troops. RESERVISTS' LEAGUE. NOW DISSOLVED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ATHENS, January 20. Following upon a conference with the British Ambassador, Sir F. F. 11. Elliott, the Government has approved of a decree dissolving the Reservists' League. POPULATION RELIEVED. SICK OF TERRORISM. Australian and N.Z, Cable Association. LONDON, January 27, The "Morning Post's" Athens correspondent says that the population is greatly relieved at the Government's acceptance of the Allies' ultimaliftn. All the people outside of the officers' clubs and the political intriguers recognised that it was useless to engage in a struggle with the Entente. Everybody was sick of terrorism and stagnant business, and the visions of famine. There is much uneasiness in . Athens concerning the Reservists, who employed lurid language up to the very last. The acceptance of the demands has enraged the Gounarist coterie because it upsets the party plans. They now accuse the King of treason ami collusion, and predict M. Venizelos's early return to Athens.
