CONFERENCE ENDS. Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 29. The University Senate has coneluded. The statutes were formally completed- The following are to come into operation this year:-—New course, Bachelor, of Agriculture; changes in biology, prescription, medical, and travelling scholarships, degree of bachelor of music, diploma in journalism, and doctorates in literature and science. Hereafter a supplementary examination in accountancy will be held in March. The Senate will meet in Wellington in April to.consider the English examiners' reports for honours degrees, and scholarships. The next annual conference will be held in Dunedin in January, 1018.
