FARM WORKERS.

NEW UNION REGISTERED.

Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 29.

The Agricultural and Pastoral Workers' Union has been granted registration under the Trade Union Act. The rules provide for the inclusion in the membership of all classes of workers engaged in agricultural and pastoral pursuits. It will be remembered that this was one of the points for refusing the union registration under the Arbitration Act.

An important provision is that the union may become part of the Australian Workers' Union, a principle endorsed by the Shearers' Union, from which the new union sprang.
