At meetings of miners in the Domain, delegates stated that the time had come to abolish the arbitration law, and for the men to decide their own business. The miners reaffirmed their determination not to return until their demands were granted. EFFECTS OF STOPPAGE. 80,000 MEN IDLE. (Received November 27, 10.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, November 27. Seven thousand factories have been closed, rendering 80,000 men idle.
