Since Bucharest became silent, the position in regard to the invasion of Western Wallachia •as become more obscure. The Germans claim a success near Orsova, and are in possession of Jiliescu, which is approximately at the fork on the Orsova-Craiova railway, and Craiova itself, If, as is suggested, the Rumanians are still in the vicinity of Orsova, with von Falkenhayn at Craiova, a dangerous enemy encircling movement, looks feasible and probable.
