The St. John Ambulance Brigade, representing the Nursing Sisters from Christchurch, Selwyn, and Avonside Nursing Divisions, and the Christchurch Ambulance Men's Division, attended the races and trots, and two days at the show during Carnival AVeek, when 31 cases of accidents were attended to, including 14 lost children, who were accounted for. The whole arrangements were under the direction of Mr W. Pearce.
