CHRISTCHURCH STOCK EXCHANGE.
After being wounded in that tremendous rush upon the Germans \t Flers, the New Zealauders were speedily brought in by stretcher-bearers and conveyed to hospital. No New Zealaiuler safe in Ghristchurch would hesitate to supply anything needed to help the men suffering in hospital, if he only knew how to do it. The Bed Gross Society will help anyone who is faced with that difficulty. One of the particular and immediate ways by which the people may help is by purchasing a ticket in the Wilding Memorial Art Union, which will be drawn on November 30,.but for which the sale of tickets must cease tomorrow. Books have been in circulation throughout Ghristchurch for weeks past, and an extensive sale has been achieved both by reason of the merits of the appeal, and because of the attractiveness of the four prizes offered. Every shilling paid in means a ]/- spent to help to provide comforts or necessities. The drawing will take place on Thursday evening next, at 8 p.m., at the Red Gross Rooms, Worcester Street, in the presence of police representatives and the executives of the Red Gross Fund.
