ALLIES RECEIVED WITH JUBILATION.

ENEMY REARGUARD FIGHTING DESPERATELY. RETIRING TO NEW LINE OF DEFENCES. Jnttroli,:n a „a x.Z. Cull/' Association. (Received November 22, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 21. When the Allies entered Mouastir the inhabitants flung wreaths of flowers over the necks of the horses of the French cavalry, and garlanded the Russian infantrymen. The enemy during the night had set fire to the barracks, and the first act of the Allies was to extinguish the fires and to arrest spies hidden in the houses. . The battlefield was covered with enemy dead and shattered guns. It is estimated that the Allies' artillery fired 1,000,000 projectiles of all calibres, destroying the enemy's defences. As the Germans and Bulgars retreated they set fire to the villages. Their new line of defence, which has been prepared for over a month, is a regular line of double trenches and wire entanglements. The Germans and Bulgars are still holding on firmly to their rearguard positions in the Cema Loop. The Bulgars, at noon on Sunday, held their firing line 2.1 miles from Mouastir.
