LATE PERSONALS.

The death occurred in the Lewisham Hospital this morning of Mr Tim Kennedy, late of the Grosvenor Hotel, Moorhouse Avenue. Mr Kennedy hail been ill for only a brief period, and his death will be much regretted by his many friends. Mr W. T. Dawson, of 10 Wellington Street, Christchureh, has received word that his son, Private Harold Dawson, who left New Zealand with the 11th Re : inforeeinent, has received a commission as a lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps, England. At the residence of Mrs T. A. 'Will (Rnngiora) yesterday afternoon. Miss E. Cunningham (Bed Cross Queen) was the recipient of a very handsome coffee service from the Eangiora Bed Cross Committee. Miss Cunningham, in thanking her friends for the handsome gift, thanked all those who worked so hard on her behalf.
