• CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The fourth competition took place at Cashmere on Saturday afternoon, over 800, 900, and 1000 yards. W. J. Henry and J. A. Lummis each scored 98, the former winning on the count out. Following are the scores of 90 and over:— 800 900 1000

KAIAPOI DEFENCE CLUB. The first match of the cup competition of the Kaiapoi Defence Rifle Club was concluded on Saturday afternoon, the conditions being seven shots at 200, 300, and 500 yards. Following were the leading scores:—
