DIVORCE.

HODGES v. HODGES. In the Supreme Court this morning, before his Honour Mr Justice Sim, the hearing was concluded of the undefended divorce case Edith Fanny Hodges v. Harry Hodges. Further evidence on behalf of the plaintiff was called by Mr Cuningham. William Bates gave evidence as to the respondent's drunkenness and illtreatment of his wife. The respondent had been seldom sober during the last few years. He had seen the petitioner with a black eye, the result of respondent's treatment. Respondent had been drinking heavily for the last ten years. Evidence was also given by William Henry Ashcroft. A flccree nisi was granted, to be made absolute in three months.
