A Rumanian communique stales:— We repulsed violent attacks in the Predeal and Dragoslavele regions, with heavy losses. We were compelled to withdraw slightly in Hie direction of Tenkiu*listi, in the All Valley, and at Stafonesti, in the Jiill region, where, however, we attacked on the wings and repulsed the enemy with serious losses. We elleetively bombarded Rustchuk, on the Danube. GERMAN ASSISTANCE. NEW DIVISIONS ARRIVE. "The rimes" Scri-ice. (Received November 18, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON, November 17. Mr J. J). Hourchier (correspondenl of "The 'limes"' at Bucharest) reports (hat two new German divisions are operating in the Jinl Valley. They are commanded by General Schmidt. In the All Valley, Ihc Germans are commanded by General Kiiisel.
