The late Air Little was a fine singer, and belonged to St. Gerard's choir. He was a member of the Commercial Travellers' Association, and well known in business circles. He leaves, a widow and two sons and three daughters.

The late Gunner F. B. Spilsbury, who was reported killed in action on September 17, left Wellington as paymaster Sergeant-major with the Oth Reinforce nieiit, and was in Egypt for a considerable time. By the time the New Zealanders left for Fiance he had succeeded in obtaining a transfer from the Pay Department, and was attached to the Howitzer Battery of the Field Artillery •with the New Zealand Division, with ■which he was serving at the time of his death. He was for some years on the Staff of the Commercial Union Assurance Company in Wellington and Gisborne, and at the time of enlistment was in the employ of Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., Wellington, in charge of their insurance department. The late Gunner Spilsbury was very popular, and was well known in golf and tennis circles, especially the latter, having been secretary of the Newtown Lawn Tennis Club and on the local association.
