The Tramways Board has j arranged for trams to leave Broadway's ! Corner for the cemetery at ;'..12 p.m. I The officers of the Citizens' Defence Corps' Bureau in Hereford {Street had a busy time in distributing to returned soldiers and men on leave from the training camps passes to the races and the Metropolitan Show, in Carnival "Week. They issued 2362 tickets for the Canterbury Jockey Club's races. At the trotting meeting and the Show, men in uniform were admitted without passes, but the tickets issued to returned soldiers who wished to see the "trots" aggregated 1106, and the show was also weir attended by returned soldiers.
