SHOOTING.
THE HARDY CUP. Our Uakaia correspondent writes:—The conditions for the shoot for the silver cup presented by the Hon. C. A. C. Hardy for compeition among the Senior Cadets are 10 rounds with a limit of five points in the handicap and an entry fee of Od. A second prize will be awarded—a silver medal valued at 10/0. All disputes will he settled by the Sergeant-Major. Competitors are io fall in at Mr Hardy's store on the morning of December 0. The following handicaps have been declared:—Sergeants W. Wilkinson, Brown, and Ford, Corporal G. Shannon, Sapper O'Connor, and Private Simmers scr, Sergeant V. McPhail, Sapper 1). Cornelius, and Privates E. Adam, G. Adam, Watts, and P. Smith 1 point. Privates W. Hooper and T. Hooper 2 points, Corporal W. McPhail and Privates B. Tatterson and Hagan and Sapper J. Stewart 3 points, Privates J. Calligan, J. Ulacklev. and V. Ford 1 points, Privates G. Lucas, W. Mead, Whiting, Magson, Culloty, and Wilson 5 points.
