At a meeting of the Ladies' Working Guild -Mrs Macartney presided over a good attendance. The secretary. Mrs Morgan, reported that the concert givei by the Tai Tapu Patriotic Troupe in aid of the Lady Liverpool Christmas Comforts Fund realised £ls 7/0. A vote of thanks was passed to all who had assisted. The offer of the ''hristchuiih Tramways Troupe to give a conceit in the hall in November was accepted.

The following is a list of garments sent in to the Ked Cross Central Depot> for the month of October:—s9 day; shirts, 30 vests, 2 dressing gowns, 2 ' pyjamas. 1 bed jacket, .'Wi binders, 40 triangulars, 12 pairs socks, 15 mattresses! for hospital ship Marama, 4 knitted waistcoats, 1 dozen washers, 22."> rollerbandages, and 1 bundle old linen. To the Lady Liverpool Depot: 30' holdalls, 30 housewives, and l.'i dozen handkerchiefs, and £•"> in monthly sub scriptions (per Mrs 11. .1. Macartney i. The Tai Tapu Gun Club held a Pat- • triotic Shoot, which realised £29 17/9.'
