RANGIORA.
The monthly meeting of the Rangiora Branch of the Lady Liverpool Fund was ; held on Monday afternoon. It was reported that during the month the fol-1 lowing articles had been forwarded to the Central Depot: —f>6 pairs socks, lj pair mittens, it balaclavas, 100 handkerchiefs, 1 cake chocolate, 1 tin biscuits, j 1 tin cakes. During the month the com-1 mittee has worked very hard in comiec-1 tion wit'i the recent Queen contest, aj detailed report of which will be published at an early date. The committee ae- j knowledges the following cash dona- j tions: —Anonymous £l, Mrs Anderson; 4/- (Christmas Parcels Fund), Miss Lynskey 7/6, proceed from sale of pony given by Mr W. Banks £2 10/-, balance on "Pinafore" concert £1 12/7, Miss; Harinan 2/-, sale of flowers (per Mrs W. A. Rowse) 5/-, Cecil and Cora Hun nibell, and Phyllis Madams (Guy Fawkes collection) 7/-. The following gifts have also been received: —Miss P. Allison, 1 pair socks; High School and Convent, cakes; Anonymous, 1 pair j socks; Anonymous Friend, 3 pairs socks; ! Waikuku, Sefton, and Loburn Schools (per Technical School), cakes; Mrs* Coates, table centre; Friend, 2 pairs bootees; Mrs W. Bramley, balaclava, j Queen Fund. —The committee acknowledges receipt of £5 from the Loburn j Branch and £1 from Mrs K. W. Wilkin- i son in aid of the Queen Fund.
