THE ENEMY PUNISHED. ARTILLERY ACTIVE. Riutrr's Trl'aramt. PARIS, October 6. A communique says:—North of the Somnie wc continued our progress east of Morval. We repulsed a strong counter-at-tack on our new trenches north of Fregieourt. The enemy artillery is most active south of the Sonime. Our heavy guns in the Woevre shelled the military station of St. Benoit, where much movement was reported, causing a great fire.
