Information from reliable sources leaves no doubt that the conditions of ife in Germany arc serious. Meetngs have been held in many parts Urging a speedy peace. A member Of the Reichstag at one meeting urged that a truce should be offered > to England, even at the sacrifice of .some of Germany's chief ambitions. There has been formidable rioting at several centres. The "Cologne Gaz-I ette" even prophesies a gloomy future for Germany. \
