General Sir William Robertson, in a speech at the unveiling of a war memorial, said we had now a reasonable amount of guns and ammunition, and on the whole could view the future without any anxiety whatever, but we must be prepared to continue the war for a time which at present could not be estimated. We wanted more men now, and eventually would want all that could be spared. We would not be justilied in expecting to win unless tinservices of every man and woman were utilised to the fullest.
