RIFLEMAN E. C. TOZER
Lieutenant Henry Stokes Richards, who has been 1 wounded, is a son of Mr S. 11. Richards, of Christchurch, and is New Zealand's Rhodes scholar for 1915. lie was educated at Ban-
giora High School and at Canterbury University College, where he graduated M.A. and was selected as Rhodes scholar. He formally took up his residence at Oxford and immediately enlisted. He obtained a commission in the 12th Battalion of the Essex Regiment, and went to France in July. Lieut. Richards first enlisted in Christchurch on tho outbreak of !he war, and was in camp here for sever.. 1 weeks.
RIFLEMAN E. A. BURT. Rifleman E. A. Burl, of Swannanoa, is the son of Mrs Burt, a very old resident of the Swannanoa dis-
triet. He enlisted in the 3rd Battalion, New Zealand Bide Brigade, and was in the list of wounded reported recently. His wound is in the leg. The latest news of him is favourable. PRIVATE G. N. STREET. Private Geoffrey N. Street, wounded in the left thigh, is a son of Mr
Walter Street, of Bakaia, and a
cousin of the late Major Ghilils. lie was educated at Bakaia High School and the Ashburlon High School. He was a carpenter by trade. He belonged to the 11th Beinforcement, and has two brothers in the forces.

20 years of age when he enlisted in the Ith Reinforcement. Trooper O'Neill was on (iallipoli, where he was suffering from frost-bite at the time of the evacuation, lie has four brothers serving.
Hilleman E. C. (Ted) Tozer, Sprcydon, died of wounds received in France on September l(i. was the second son of Mr and Mrs W. 11. Tozer, of 37 Dunn Street, Spreydon.
He was 21 years of age when lie enlisted with the 4th Battalion, New Zealand Rifle Brigade. He was educated at the West Christchurch School. Prior to enlisting, he was a wire-worker, employed at the Cyclone Company's Works. Rifleman Tozcr was the twentieth member of the Federal Rugby League Football Club to enlist.
CORPORAL M. T. TIMINGS. Corporal Maurice T. Timings, wounded in the thigh, is the eldest son of Mr T. Timings, bridge-keeper at Rakaia. He was educated at the Pahiatua High School, and belonged
to the railway service, being stationed at Dunedin. He left with the Olago Battalion of the Bth. TROOPER W. O'NEILL. Trooper Walter O'Neill, wounded in the head bv shrapnel, is a son of Mr B. O'Neili, late of Rakaia, and now of Daniel's Road, Papanui. He was born at Doylcston, and was educated at Leeston School. He was
