CABINET RESIGNATIONS.
NEW NATIONAL CABINET EXPECTED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, October 3. The "Daily Chronicle's" correspondent at Athens slates that all the members of the Cabinet except the Premier and M. Carapanos, the Foreign Minister, have resigned. It is understood that when their resignations are accepted M. Cologeropoulos, the Premier, will construct the Ministry on national lines.
WORKING SMOOTHLY. THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT. United Service. LONDON, October 4. Mr Jeffries, writing from Canca, states that the Provisional Government at Crete is working smoothly. The judicial authority has been restored. A Venezelist force before dawn yesterday sailed for Samos Island, determined to attack and subdue it if necessary. The garrison of Samos surrendered, the officers were disarmed, and the police joined the Nationalists.
