SERGEANT H. D. BELL
Sergeant Harold Douglas Bell, wounded, is the second son of Mr and Mrs H. R. Bell, of Richmond, Christchurch. He left with the Main
Expeditionary force, and was wounded eight days after the landing at Gallipoli. He reached home a year ago, and returned wUh the Uth Reinforcement, receiving his second wound in the recent offensive in France.
RIFLEMAN T. J. ROWLES
Rifleman Thomas James Bowles, wounded in France on September 10, is the eldest son of Mr James Bowles, tailor, Lichfield Street, Christchurch. He was born in Timaru, but was educated at the East Christchurch and Normal schools.
At the time of his enlistment he was in business as a draper at Panmure, near Auckland. Rifleman Bowles left New Zealand with the 13th Reinforcement. Mrs A. C. Berryman, of 483 Gloucester Street, Linwood, is a sister.

View Street, Linwood, and is in his twenty-second year. He was born at Arowhenua, Otago, and was educated at Fail-lie. lie was working at Hanmer until he enlisted in the Main Expeditionary Force. While engaged in the Gallipoli campaign hewas reported as wounded and missing for three weeks, 'then he was in hospital at Lemnos, and subsequently rejoined his unit. RIFLEMAN R. G. RICHARDSON. Rifleman Hoy Graham Richardson, who was wounded on September 10, in the face and right hand, is the youngest son of Mrs G. G. Richard-
son, of 217 Moorhouse Avenue. He
was employed by the Cyclone Fence and dale Company until he enlisted in the 9th Reinforcement. He was a prominent member of the Federal (Rugby League) Football Club. He has a brother at the front.
