At the Ashburton slock sale to-day, the yarding was small. Fal cues brought up to 20/-: halfbrod wether hoggets' 22/-;' ewes and lambs, 17/7; fat wethers, 33/-; and fat hoggets 25/!). Caroline Middleton, while travelling between Christchurch and Ashburton in tho company of Mrs Harrison Lee Cowie, collapsed to-day in the train. She was attended by Dr. 'Pruby King, Who was also a, passenger, and was removed at Ashburton to a private hospital.
